We are updating our church directory.  You will get digital access and a paper copy.  Please see Crystal Kress in the front lobby following service to schedule a time for your family’s picture to be taken and fill out an updated information sheet.  Picture dates are 9/14 6-8 pm, 9/17 8:30-12, 9/18 8-10.
The requests sent in to the Agape Prayer Chain are sent out to through a free app called Group Me.  If you would like to be added to the prayer chain please let us know along with your cell phone and/or email on your connect card in the bulletin.  You will need to download the app on your device and go through a one time registration / sign up process for group me, after that you will see the prayer requests come through like a group text.
The Thirft Store has been closed for their seasonal change over and will reopen on Wednesday, 9/14.
Ladies Night Out- The third Thursday of each month the ladies (youth and up are welcome) get together for fun, fellowship, food and BUNCO!  Food and fellowship from 6:30 to 7:00.  We play Bunco from 7:00 – 9:00.  Prizes are awarded immediately afterwards.  Please bring $5 to go toward the next month’s prizes.  Please see Pastor Allyson to reserve your place.  There are twelve openings each month.  If more ladies are interested in playing we need to know ahead of time so that arrangements can be made to accommodate more people.  The next Bunco date is September 15th hosted by Cindy Lenn in the fellowship hall at church.
Pool Pork Pit Party – Men’s fellowship on Friday night, 9/30 starting at 6pm.  Bring a chair and a drink.  BBQ, creekfries and deserts will be served.  You are welcome to bring hot dogs and marshmallows for roasting if you would like them.  This will be at Tom & Cathy Crossley’s home at 400 Main St., Troy, IN
Agape will be participating in the Bicentennial Parade on Saturday, 10/2.  We are hoping to have a large group of walkers.  Candy donations are appreciated.
The next 24 to Double meeting will be Friday, October 7th at 7pm in the fellowship hall.  There will be a replay at 9am on Sunday, 10/9 in the fellowship hall.  It will also be broadcast on the Agape Church Periscope account as long as technology cooperates.
The Cannelton Heritage Fest is on Saturday, 10/8.  The youth have multiple fundraisers scheduled that day that will go toward youth camp next summer.  If you are available to help with set up, working or clean up please see Jennifer Simpson.
We are looking for Volunteers in the following areas, if you would like to volunteer please complete an application which can be found in the front lobby or see Allyson Kimbril:

Nursery Lead and workers (not currently staffed, but would like to offer a staffed nursery to help out moms with young children),

Toddler Class teachers and helpers for the 4th Sunday each month.

Children’s church teachers, helpers, media techs and people willing to participate in costumed skits.

Van drivers for Sunday morning (would like to have enough drivers to only have to drive once a month)
